You can update or confirm your direct deposit information through the following website. However, if you receive awards or fellowships in your student account, this does not update the direct deposit on file with student financial services. To change your direct deposit with student financial services, follow the instructions located here. These are two different direct deposit systems.
Note that if you never provided a direct deposit form or it has been some time since last submitting it. You will most likely need to submit a paper direct deposit form.

If you already have a POSC log-in and password:
- Click on the POSC website: https://interactive.marylandtaxes.gov/extranet/cpb/posc/user/start.aspx
- Log in to the POSC system by clicking “logon.”Click “Update Direct Deposit”.
- If you are asked to validate your Bank Account Number. The direct deposit information should still be on file.
- If you try to validate your bank information or the validate Bank Account Number is missing. You will need to submit a new direct deposit form.
If you do not have a POSC log-in and password:
- Click on the POSC website: https://interactive.marylandtaxes.gov/extranet/cpb/posc/user/start.aspx
- Click “Sign up” to create your logonID and password.
**Passwords will expire every 90 days** - Follow the prompted steps to create your logonID and password.
You will need the following:- Your Social Security Number
- Your Date of Birth
- The University’s Agency Number is – 360222
- Check/Advice Number from your most recent paystub (Instructions are below)
- Once you have created a logonID and password, follow the steps above to verify your tax and direct deposit information.
How to Find Your Check Advice Number
Follow these steps to locate your check advice number:
- Log in to Workday.
- In the Search bar, type: My Most Recent Payslip.
- Click OK. (Please note, this process may take a minute.)
- Once loaded, click the PDF in the red top menu bar on the right side of the screen. (This process may also take a minute.)
- Your check advice number will be listed in the top row of the check image
If you are a new hire or rehire, you may not have a payslip in Workday yet to establish your POSC account. Once you receive your first paycheck, please return here to set up your POSC account.
